what to expect from your 28 days...

TWO SESSIONS A WEEK

Across the 28 days, you'll do 8 Full Body Strength & Conditioning sessions. These sessions are structured and personally coached. You won't be left guessing, wondering or feeling unsure...proper guidance right by your side.

PRIVATE STUDIO SPACE

Away from the main gym floor. It's quiet, intimate and personal. We train in small groups of 4, so you don't have to worry about crowds, being watched or feeling out of place.

COACHING THAT'S ACTUALLY PERSONAL

Every exercise will be what is best for you, your body, and your ability. We'll work together on your form, feel, technique...at your pace...and you'll be able to ask any questions you need to, with in the moment feedback.

THE FUNDAMENTALS OF STRENGTH TRAINING

You'll learn how to move well, in a way that suits your body. The basic movements, done properly, with someone watching and adjusting as you go. Knowledge you'll carry with you long after the 28 days is done.

A bit about me...

The bloke you'll be working with!

Hello! If you made it this far, fair play!

My name is Dave, the wee bloke who is 'Newfit'.

On the personal side...I am married to the long suffering Nic. Together for 20 years, married for 11. I have 2 fab boys, Harry, 26 and Ralfie, 14. We share the house with a Bulldog, Bessie, a Gecko, Grecko. I am a lifetime long suffering Everton fan, spend what spare time I have doing stuff in the garden (Spring/Summer) and pottering around fixing stuff (Winter!). I love a bit of dance music...all sorts from 90s rave to modern House, Techno, Trance etc and occasionally 'play out', thinking I am a superstar international DJ!

Of course, I enjoy training...but I do it to enable me to live life on my terms.

Professionally...I got into this, genuinely, to help people enjoy the benefits of strength training and improving their fitness. I believe the more people we get into gyms, in todays sedentary lifestyles, the better. The aim is, and always will be, to help the hard working, caring, good people of society to feel fucking superb!

Everything I do is built on my ethos and key values: Honesty. Integrity. Trust. Humour. Fun.

Do I need any experience?

None whatsoever. NewStrength is built for people who are new to the gym or coming back after a long time away. You'll be coached through everything from day one. No prior knowledge needed...just show up and get stuck in!

I'm not very fit. Will I cope?

That's exactly why this exists. You don't need to be fit to start...that's what the 28 days is for. Every session is adapted to suit where you are right now. We're going to build you up, session by session, week by week.

What does a typical session look like?

Full Body Strength & Conditioning. Lasting ~60 minutes. Generally, 5 minutes warm up. 40 minutes Strength Work. 10-15 minutes of Conditioning. We'll work through the fundamental movements of strength training at a pace that suits you. Coached throughout. Progressive week on week. You'll end every session with a feel good buzz!

Where does it take place?

In a private studio space at Xtreme Fitness, Workington. Away from the main gym floor. No gym membership needed - your NewStrength sessions cover everything.

When are the sessions?

Monday to Thursday. Available times: 10am, 5:30pm and 6:30pm across the week. You'll book via the Newfit App and can schedule up to four weeks ahead to suit your diary.

How much does it cost?

£185 for the full 28 days. Priority list members get access at £149 — first come, first served. That's eight coached sessions, full app access and a community that'll have your back from day one.

What happens after the 28 days?

That's entirely up to you. No pressure or hard sell. Most people want to carry on...and if that's you, we'll have a chat about what comes next. But the 28 days stands completely on its own.
